Plastic surgery can be a rewarding and life enhancing experience, but it requires that patients enter into cosmetic enhancement with confidence in their choice of procedure and physician. This is why patients are willing to travel far and wide to find a facial plastic surgeon that is right for them. In an increasingly global Internet-oriented society, researching procedures and finding a surgeon is much easier.   Many of our patients travel from not just within the U.S.A, but from around the world to take advantage of Dr. Slupchynskyj’s expertise.  To meet the needs of our patients traveling from near or far, we strive to make your whole facial plastic surgery experience as safe, convenient, and stress-free as possible. Why Dr. Slupchynskyj - Many patients recognize his training, double board certification, and more importantly his specialization in the face only! His word-of -mouth referrals from satisfied patients is his highest compliment. It is not uncommon that patients travel both internationally and nationally to our practice. We find that some patients value the peace, privacy and anonymity associated with an out of town facial plastic surgeon away from the gaze of friends and acquaintances.
Even local patients and patients from Long Island, Connecticut and New Jersey often will approach their facial plastic surgery as if they were from out of town, staying at local hotels. This way they can keep their facial plastic surgery a secret and can "return" home to as if they had just been on vacation.
Your Consultation - Federal law protects patients by requiring licensure in the state in which surgeon's practice. Therefore a diagnosis and surgical plan cannot be made over long distance; however, Dr. Slupchynskyj will be happy to review photos and discuss possible options which can be further discussed in person during consultation. You may send photos to Dr. Slupchynskyj by either e-mail or post so he can review the photos and your concerns to get the most out of your consultation. In consultation, we make every effort to answer as many questions prior to any proposed visit to our office.
Your Travel Arrangements - Dr. Slupchynskyj's office manager and patient coordinator, Karin, is accustomed to meeting the needs of all our out of town patients. In particular, she will help you as necessary with travel arrangements, transfers, hotels, coordinating you preoperative clearance, and your postoperative care.
Your Postoperative Care - Depending on your surgery, you may spend the night of surgery back at your hotel with a friend or a private nurse. Karin will help you arrange this prior to your surgery.
Your return home - Based on the exact details of your case, Dr. Slupchynskyj will advise you exactly how long you will need to stay in New York. It will vary depending on whether you have one procedure or multiple procedures (facelift, chin augmentation, lip augmentation, mini facelift, etc.), your particular medical condition, how far from home you will be, how you will be traveling back, etc.  Certainly, the facial plastic surgeon you choose will be the biggest determinant of your outcome, but these factors will all contribute to the comfort and ease of your recovery.
We are fortunate to be in a city that offers everything; the best in entertainment on Broadway and Radio City Music Hall, the finest in food and shopping and not to mention the many world renowned museums, which are steps away from the Aesthetic Facial Surgery Center of NY and your hotel.

Getting To Our Offices Via Subway:
The office is accessible by the 4, 5, 6 or F trains. If taking the 4, 5 trains, get off on 59th Street Lexington Avenue. On that station, you can transfer to the 6 train and take it uptown one station to 68th Street Hunter College. When taking the F train get off on 63rd Street and Lexington Avenue. From Lexington Avenue, walk toward the west side. The Aesthetic Facial Surgery Center is located on 65th Street between Park and Madison Avenues.
