About African American Rhinoplasty Photos
Ethnic plastic surgery photos are a brief overview of the results of plastic surgery. Photos are taken at various stages after surgery, some early on, only a few weeks afterward; while others are taken more than a year after a surgical procedure. It is important to understand what you are seeing in before and after photos. Here is a brief tutorial on photo results.
Most often the photo on the left is the "before" and the photo on the right is the "after"
Their are generally 5-6 views taken of every patient before and after surgery. They are listed as follows:
- Frontal: front view
- Laterals: left and right side of the face
- Obliques: left and right 3/4 view of the face
- Base view: view of the bottom of the nose, with the head tilted back showing the nostrils
The base view shows use how straight or crooked the septum (the cartilage in the center of the nose).
